COMPUTERISATION

The school purchased 4 computers, 3 PCs and 1 PC-XT in 1989. By 1990, computerized salary statements were generated.
In 1994, the Computer Lab was provided with 4 more PC-AT computers and 1 PC-AT (386).
5 more computers of type PC-486 were added in 1997. The earlier PCs with double drive were discarded. Softwares for salary, fees and library were made in-house and also with the help of the other branches of BBPS. A major work was the computerization of the PF details of all the employees since 1991. The required reports, 3A, 6A forms was generated and sent to the PF office.

In 1997, a new Computer Lab was established for the Middle/Primary Departments, containing 13 computers with Celeron Microprocessor and 333 MHz of speed, whereas the Senior Computer Lab was provided with an addition of 4 P-III type of computers.

One more lab with 13 HP BRIO computers was set up in 2001. The school also started its computer aided teaching programme ( Bhartiya Vidya) by using JIL capsules in classes VI to X. In the same year, result computerization was also initiated and in-house software was developed by Ms. Manisha Sathe and Mrs.Nidhi Grover for classes VI to XII .

With the passage of time, the need for centralized software for various departments arose and in 2003, software for complete computerization including fees, library, Medical Room and Result preparation was purchased. This Integral Solutions Software is being used successfully till date.

In the year 2008, major expansion of the Primary Department Lab took place. It now has 23 computers. As a result of a steady pace of growth, the school uses approximately 72 computers in various activities. Apart from this, Internet facility is available at all the computer labs, other labs, and the libraries.
