Bharati Public School, Brij Vihar, Ghaziabad
was started by the Child Education Society in 1984.
Today it is considered as one of the leading institutions
in the area. It is affiliated to the Central Board of
Secondary Education, Delhi. Current roll strength of
students is 2335. Nine batches of class XII (Science
and Commerce) have passed out of this school so far.
The
School Management Committee is headed by Mr. R.K. Gupta
as Chairman and has, among others, the District Magistrate
of Ghaziabad as Member. Mr. G. Gupta is the Principal.
Cmde P I Oommen, VSM (Retd.) is the Secretary (Manager)
of the school.
Proctorial
Board
The School Proctorial Board comprises the Principal,
Incharges of various departments, the Head Boy and Head
Girl along with prefects. The Board looks after general
discipline in the School. There is a Students' Council
comprising two representatives from each class that
meets regularly to discuss various aspects regarding
school discipline & the smooth running of the school.
Prefectorial
Board
The Prefectorial Board consists of School Captain, School
Vice Captain, House Captains, House Vice Captains, Secretaries
and Jt. Secretaries for literary, sports & cultural
activities & student welfare projects. The prefects
help in maintaining discipline and assist in organising
various functions in the school.
